The record
Dupree Bolton's trumpet playing here has become something of a collector's fixation, fierce and strange against Jack Wilson's clean piano lines. Tenor and soprano work both surface across the date, still overlooked despite the pedigree.

The earliest we list is the 1963 US Pacific Jazz mono, PJ-70. Stereo of that year turns up under both PJ-70 and ST-70, with red and blue label variants noted in the listings, so pin down which you are being offered. A Dutch Fontana of 1963, 688 136 ZL, is the period alternative. Modern copies: the 2010 French Heavenly Sweetness 180-gram, HSV039VL, or Japan's 1992 mono, PJ-0070.
