The record

Hamilton widens the frame here, adding french horn and doubled flutes alongside Willie Bobo's percussion for a fuller, more orchestral color than his small-group dates usually carry. Szabo and Lloyd still anchor the front line, but the arrangements reach for something bigger and more layered.
