The record
Recorded the same October day as its companion LP, this session lets Cohn and Gordon spar across tenor choruses while Mitchell and Noto fill out the horn line. Schlitten's house rhythm team of Harris, Jones, and Hayes keeps the whole thing unfussy and direct.
