The earliest pressing on file is the 1968 US ABC stereo ABCS-660; a second 1968 US copy and a New Zealand Stateside SSLM.6049 share the year, and ABC repressed ABCS-660 in 1971. Impulse! took the title over in 1973 as AS-9238, remastered in quadraphonic -- a different animal from the stereo, not an upgrade to it. Japan's YW-8516-AB from 1977 is the cleanest late stereo option.
