Yusef Lateef brings an oboe to a jazz rhythm section, along with flute and tenor, and the horn-switching is what sets the record apart. Lonnie Hillyer plays trumpet, Hugh Lawson piano; the bass credit splits between Ernie Farrow and Herman Wright, the drums between Frank Gant and Oliver Jackson.
