Four tracks on a 10-inch, and 'Django' is the one that stops the room. John Lewis at the piano, Milt Jackson on vibraharp, Percy Heath and Kenny Clarke completing the group -- the writing runs closer to chamber music than to a blowing session, and the short format suits it.
