A theatrical swerve for the group, built around a commedia dell'arte suite that brings Diahann Carroll's voice into tightly written parts. The vibraharp still swings, but wit and stagecraft take over from blues-rooted cool.

Pressings
The earliest we list is the 1962 US Atlantic mono, 1390, in a gatefold; stereo of that year is SD 1390, and the listings split white-fan-label copies from black-fan repressings, which is the distinction to check before you pay. Britain took it on London -- HA-K 8046 mono, SHK.8046 stereo. A 1968 US Presswell repress and a 1980 reissue both reuse those same numbers.
