The record
A St. Louis BAG offshoot led by Charles Bobo Shaw, this session finds Marty Ehrlich and J.D. Parran among a sprawling cast of reeds, small instruments, and voice, with Oliver Lake and Lester Bowie sitting in as guests. A rare glimpse of the St. Louis free-jazz underground on wax, cut loose and communal in the collective spirit of the era.
