The record

Not a jazz record at all: koto music, with the track titles naming their own forms -- a koto duo, four fughettas for flute and koto, 'Midare Rinzetsu', 'Danmono Kuzushi', a closing 'Impressions Of Cities'. Toshio Takahashi is credited on flute alongside Shinichi Yuize, and Samuel B. Charters produced it. Prestige issued it as PR 7504 in 1967. The flute-and-koto writing alone justifies the shelf space.
