The record
Muse reunited Rodney with fellow Parker-band veteran Sam Noto for this '74 session, their two trumpets trading over Ray Brown and Shelly Manne's deep-pocket rhythm work. Dolo Coker's piano and added horns from Mulidore and Tiana thicken the frontline into something closer to a small big band.

- Jim Mulidore — alto saxophone, soprano saxophone, alto flute
- Ray Brown — bass
- Shelly Manne — drums
