The record
A trio date built around the man they called "The Walker" for those unerring quarter-note lines that made West Coast rhythm sections swing so easy. Vee Jay lets him stretch out as leader, with Melvoin and Goodwin keeping things loose and conversational behind the bass.
Session personnel
- Leroy Vinnegar — contrabass
- Bill Goodwin — drums
- Mike Melvoin — piano
