The record
Billed as a two-name meeting but really a Tristano-school reunion -- Konitz, Marsh, and Brown weave counterpoint over Bill Evans' economical comping while Giuffre's baritone thickens the reed choir underneath.

The earliest we list is the 1959 US Verve mono, MG V-8335. Stereo of that year carried a different number entirely, MG VS-6073, and a later undated US stereo runs as MG V6-8335 -- three numbers for one record, so read the offer carefully. Reissues are European and Japanese: France in 1979 as 2304 381, Japan in 1982 as 23MJ 3172.
