The record
A solo piano date from Drew's fertile 1970s stretch as a Scandinavian expat, working through standards with the touch and taste he'd honed behind Coltrane, Rollins, and Dolphy. Inner City's early reissue license brought this European session to American shelves, letting Drew's lyrical, Bud Powell-schooled lines speak unaccompanied.
