A cool-school torch session that helped define Capitol's West Coast vocal sound, Christy's smoky alto turning the title track into a quiet standard of restrained heartbreak. Understated arrangements leave plenty of room for that voice to just sit in the room with you.

Pressings
The earliest pressings on file are 1954 ten-inch monos, H-516 in the US and LC 6682 in the UK. The twelve-inch T-516 arrives in 1955 and is repressed through 1962. Read the 1960 stereo, ST-516, carefully: it is listed as re-recorded, a later remake rather than the 1954 performance, and the same goes for the SM-516 issues of 1975 and 1978. Cisco remastered the mono in 2002 as CISLP516.
