The record
Cut while Pass was rebuilding his life and chops at the Synanon rehabilitation facility, this quietly remarkable date pairs his fleet, harmonically rich guitar with a house band of fellow residents. A document of recovery as much as music -- unpolished in spots, but the first real evidence of the player who'd soon become one of the instrument's greats.
