The record
Dual organists Creque and Riggins, plus Candido and Lendrum on hand percussion, push this 1970 session toward street-funk territory far from the guitarist's hard-bop roots. Claude Bartee's tenor cuts through a thick, Muhammad-driven pocket built for the body more than the head.
