The record
Italian post-bop from the late-'60s Rearward stable, with Volonté's saxophones weaving through a compact brass-and-rhythm unit anchored by two bassists. Piana and Valdambrini bring their studio-honed brass fluency, while Manzecchi's drums keep the date loose and swinging, true to its title.
