The record

Charlie Christian's guitar next to Red Norvo's vibraphone, with Edmond Hall's clarinet out front -- that combination alone justifies the record. Teddy Wilson is at the piano, and the credits carry two bassists, Israel Crosby and Johnny Williams, plus two band names, the Celeste Quartet and the All Star Quintet. Blue Note issued it in 1969 with liner notes by Pete Welding.
