The record
Van Gelder cut the lacquer and Tom Wilson (2) supplied the notes, but beyond those two the credits name only Kirkland himself -- whoever backed him across these twelve sides went undocumented. Prestige issued it in 1962 as TSLP 15010 in mono. The titles lean hard on hurt and leaving, 'Have Mercy On Me' and 'Train Done Gone' among them.
