A late-night European quartet session finds the Yugoslav trumpeter in easy conversation with Tete Montoliu's harmonically restless piano, cut for Enja during the label's early-70s run of hard-swinging European jazz. Bebop lineage filtered through a continental sensibility, unhurried and after-hours in feel as much as name.
